- Check for silent water waste using a die tablet in the toilet tank to perform a visual check of all
home fixtures
- Turn your garden hose spigot on and off as per seasonal requirements
- Check to see if the overflow on your toilet is set properly to help control water bills
- Check your trap seal primer ensuring the water seal is strong. This prevents backflow of sewer gas
from entering your home
- Place valve tags on all water shut off valves inside and outside the home. In the event of an
emergency, you do not want to be second guessing which valves you need to turn off
- Check your homes fixtures to ensure the proper water temperature is coming through
- Check your mixing valve to ensure it’s delivering water to your home at the proper temperature
- Check your sump pump and float to ensure its operating efficiently.
